The State Emergency Operations Center continues to monitor debris clean-up efforts from storms that hit the state July 19-20, resulting in at least 16 confirmed tornadoes. The storms downed thousands of trees and left hundreds of thousands of people without electric service in northern and central Wisconsin for several days.
Residents who suffered property damage as a result of the storms should call 2-1-1 (877-947-2211). Residents can also contact 2-1-1 to find information about volunteer resources that may be available in their area to assist with clean-up.
