Heavy rains have caused flooding and flash floods in northwestern Wisconsin. The National Weather Service says the area has received 7-12” of rain. The counties with the most damage includes Douglas, Ashland, Bayfield, Price, Iron and Sawyer Counties.
Residents and businesses that sustained damage from storms and flooding in northwest Wisconsin should contact 2-1-1 to report damage.

Road Conditions:
- US 63 now open through Bayfield County – As of 8:30 a.m., US 63 from County Highway D in Grand View north to County Highway E, Bibon Swamp, is now open to traffic. The area was previously closed due to flooding form the heavy rainfall the weekend of June 15 to June 17. Water levels have dropped and there is no longer water over the roadway. WisDOT engineers have inspected the structure over Bibon Creek and have determined US 63 is safe for travel. – June 23, 2018
