A strong line of thunderstorms moved across Wisconsin Wednesday, June 14th, and produced heavy rains, multiple reported tornadoes, and strong winds.

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) announced on  March 14, 2022, a confirmed case of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in a commercial poultry flock in Jefferson County. It was the first confirmed case of HPAI in Wisconsin since 2015.

On Thursday, March 12, 2020 Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers declared a Public Health Emergency in response to new cases of COVID-19 in the state. The declaration directed the state Department of Health Services (DHS) to use all resources necessary to respond to and contain the outbreak.
